All councillors meet to review the overall business of the council not delegated to the three sub committees below, such as monthly spend verses budget, policy review, asset management, future planning, precept setting and liaison with principal authority and local organisations. This council meets the requirements of the General Power of Competence which gives the council the opportunity to do anything that individuals generally may do. (Localism Act 2011 sections 1 -8, specifically s1(1))<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-cb2fa0e elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"cb2fa0e\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-af64d41\" data-id=\"af64d41\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-29e9bce elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"29e9bce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>FINANCE &amp; GENERAL PURPOSES<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c4785e9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c4785e9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>F&amp;GP meets every 2nd Tuesday in alternate months. Their overall responsibility is the management of the Parish Council\u2019s financial affairs in accordance with legislative requirements, regulations and guidelines, recommending the precept (an annual tax collected by the Unitary Authority from the local electorate to meet the parish council\u2019s budget requirements.)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-cd3c0f3\" data-id=\"cd3c0f3\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f4bea12 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f4bea12\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>OPEN SPACES, ALLOTMENTS &amp; BURIALS<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0b86a13 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0b86a13\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Open Spaces Committee meets every 1st Tuesday of the month. Their responsibilities include ponds, rivers and woodlands, including those rented and leased by the Council, including their maintenance which covers grass cutting, fencing, boundary walls, gates and buildings. Also the Council\u2019s leisure areas: allotments, recreation grounds, football pitches, pavilions and play equipment.
