“In partnership, Buckinghamshire Council and national charity Garden Organic are supporting residents to waste less and recycle more. To amplify our message we coordinate a network of volunteers around the county who promote our key messages at various events and talks.
We would love to support a volunteer in your community. We will provide them with training that covers reducing, re-using, recycling and composting waste in Buckinghamshire, as well as resources to support the sharing of that message with others.
Volunteers come from all walks of life and are trained and supported to be active in their local communities, sharing important positive environmental messages.
Focusing on waste reduction, recycling, reuse and composting, we equip volunteers with the skills and knowledge to encourage residents to change behaviours and make a real difference both locally and across Buckinghamshire.”
