Best Allotment Cup 2026 Awarded

Wooburn & Bourne End Parish Council is delighted to announce that Nick and Izzy, tenants of Plot 35, have been awarded the Best Allotment Cup 2026.

The award was presented at a ceremony held on 26 September 2026 and was ratified by the Parish Council’s Open Spaces, Allotments & Burials Committee.

Nick and Izzy have held their allotment for approximately eight months and have made significant progress in transforming the plot into a productive and well-maintained growing space. They spoke of the positive impact that the allotment has had on their wellbeing and were thrilled to receive recognition for the hard work they have put in over the last 8-9 months.

The judges were particularly impressed by the care and effort invested in the plot, including the extensive hard landscaping, much of which was sourced locally and transported to the allotment on foot.
