VACANCIES FOR 2 NEW COUNCILLOR’S

Would you be interested in being a Parish Councillor for Wooburn and Bourne End?

We currently have two Councillor vacancies, having a current constitution of 15 members.

As a Councillor, you will have an opportunity to give back to your community in an extremely important and fulfilling way. From helping the community make decisions on facilities and proposed planning applications in the area, to attending local events to speak with residents directly, there are so many ways in which you can contribute to making Wooburn and Bourne End an enriching place to live.

In the position, you would be required to attend the Full Council meetings which are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month. As well as this, there are a number of sub committees you might wish to serve on, such as Finance & General Purposes, Open Spaces, Allotments & Burials, as well as Planning, Highways & Lighting.
